Brendan Kwiatkowski, was a highschool teacher from British Columbia, Canada, and is currently a PhD candidate in Education at the University of Edinburgh. His mixed-methods research investigates grade 12 males’ experiences and beliefs on masculinity, school, and emotional expression. As a personal passion project he is working on a concept music album that follows the life of a man from birth to old age, each song connecting with his own PhD research and/or other masculinity literature.
