Jay McCauley Bowstead is a lecturer in cultural and historical studies at London College of Fashion where he is co-convenor of the Masculinities Research Hub. His recent publications include his monograph Menswear Revolution and a co-authored chapter with Lili Golmohammadi in Teaching Fashion Studies (Holly Kent ed.).
He looks forward to forthcoming chapters in Dandy Style (Shaun Cole and Miles Lambert eds); Representations of the Male Body (Silvia Gerlsbeck and Carmen Dexl eds) and Fashionable Masculinities (working title) (Pamela Church Gibson, Vicki Karaminas and Adam Geczy eds).
He is currently working on a Special Issue for Intellect Journals with Charlie Athill resulting from their recent conference Globalising Men’s Style.
