Dr Chris Inglis is a musicologist based in Cardiff, Wales, whose research primarily explores the emergence and development of the electro swing genre. After studying at De Montfort University and the University of Sheffield, in 2019 he received his doctorate from the University of South Wales. He has previously led the BA Musicology module at USW, and has had chapters featured in numerous publications, as well as having presented at various international conferences including in Lisbon, Amsterdam, and at the University of Cambridge.
